Sleep is very important, as it allows you to revitalize your cells and tissues. At a young age, the growth of the body is completely dependent on two factors, namely, the diet and the sleep. If you want to have a good old age, you should take a regular and good amount of sleep. There are different researches and studies that show the important of sleep in our life. On an average a continuous seven hours of sleep is a must. People who sleep more or less than seven hours usually suffer from problems. Seven hours of sound sleep ensures your good health.
How to ensure seven hours of sleep?
To ensure that there is a perfect sleeping environment, you should firstly remove any source of noise. To have a sound sleep it is very important to have silence. One cannot sleep in a chirpy or a noisy room. There should preferably be no television or radio in your bedroom. Another important factor that should be considered to get a sound sleep is that, you should eat your dinner at time. There should be at least a gap of one hour, between your dinner and your sleep. If your stomach is full, and you try to sleep, you would be affected in both the digestion process, as well as sleep. Eating just before going to bed can cause disturbed sleep. You should always eat less in your dinner. This allows you to have a balanced sleep and a good digestion. If you over eat during your dinner time, it would badly affect your sleep.
One should avoid any kind of exertion even two hours before the sleep. If you exert too much and your blood pressure is raised you wont be able to sleep, and would be required to consume sleeping tablet, to get a good sleep. There are many other factors that govern a person’s average sleeping duration. People suffering from stress and depression generally face problems with sleep. To ensure that you get a good sleep you should try to relieve yourself of any stress or depression. You may even consult a good psychologist to get rid of depression and stress. There are many people who find it difficult to sleep after they cross forty five years. This problem is generally caused due to the lack of the necessary chemicals that is produced in the brain to control the sleep. The lack of this chemical in the body make a person suffer from sleeping disorders.
Exercise to have a sound sleep
People who have an excessive work load, and don’t get time to rest, end up changing their sleep cycle. A shift in the sleep cycle is a common problem which is faced by the youths. This problem is mainly caused due to the pressure to perform. The exercises such as yoga and meditation help you keep your mind fresh, and stay away from stress. There are different ways of keeping your mind calm. If you keep your mind calm and stay away from tension and stress, you would be able to have a good seven hours of sleep every night.
